We Love to Say Hi and Buy Less

We recently discovered this short TEDx Talk by poet Boonaa Mohammed. It’s a great reminder to be kind and loving to others no matter the circumstances.

There are some inadvertent nods to minimalism in Boonaa’s poetic speech. A couple of our favorite quotes: “Divide my time like economics: I love to say ‘hi’ and buy less,” and “I ain’t impressed with money, cars, clothes, or fame … the trinkets of this world don’t mean a thing.” Enjoy.
